When creating an outdoor kitchen, our Trex Ready series eases the design process with preselected options. These options will simplify your project by providing readymade solutions that are functional and beautiful.
Trex Ready is available in seven layouts and six powder coat finishes. The layouts include 304 grade stainless steel cabinetry and our standard slab Hampton door style. We chose 6 powder coat colors for their adaptability to any decor.
Before you begin your design, keep in mind that you must source appliances and countertops separately. Consider factors like local codes and laws, the size of your space, and the appliances and features you want. You will also want to consider cooking appliance safety and functionality with proximity to other structures.
Location and Layout
Along with outdoor kitchens, many backyards include a comfortable seating area, outdoor furniture, outdoor fireplaces, and pools. We designed our Trex Ready products to seamlessly integrate with the rest of your outdoor environment.
To decide on an outdoor kitchen layout, you will want to determine your kitchen’s location and your cooking needs. For a cohesive space, consider how your kitchen layout will flow with your pool, seating, or other features. Although you do not need to cover a Trex kitchen, a covered space can be beneficial. Some covered outdoor kitchen ideas include a pergola, gazebo, or under an umbrella on your outdoor patio.
The Trex Ready layouts are available in straight runs and L shapes in a variety of lengths. Powder coated back panels give you a finished look on all sides for installation away from a wall. This freedom allows you to choose the layout that best suits your unique space.

Grills and other appliances are vital for the function of your outdoor kitchen. A grill is an absolute must for any cooking space, which is why each Trex Ready layout features a grill cabinet. Trex Ready grill cabinets accommodate 30”-36” grills and 42” grills. The grill size will determine the width of the cabinet that you will need.
You can decide on your grill size based on your cooking and entertainment requirements. For the Trex Ready layouts, we chose common and practical sizes for a variety of cooking styles.
Depending on the layout that you choose, you can have other convenient appliances and features like a fridge, side burner, sink, trash, and smoker. Each layout features storage and a unique configuration of appliances.

To complete your design, you can choose from six popular powder coat finishes from our collection. These finishes are UV resistant and low maintenance, requiring only mild soap and water to keep your cabinetry clean.
